CA finishing

Here's a question about a problem I keep experiencing.
Nothing rude but when I burn any lines onto pens/keyrings/turnings, I end up with a white build up in the groove that I just can't get rid of when it's polished and I would like to know how to stop this happening.
So if you have any ideas on this Please,please let me knowas it's driving me MAD
