I tried a search for this but all words are too short for the search except drying.
How do you keep your CA from drying out? (getting hard in the bottle)

I don't do it but many put their CA in the fridge. I just accept that CA has a short shelf life and as soon it starts loosing it normal character (ie thin CA getting thicker) I just toss it out. Once CA starts getting old weird and unexpected things start to happen.

8 oz bottles last about 1 year to 15 months on average for me - once opened. 4 oz bottles, (once opened) last about 7 to 9 months on average. 2 oz bottles last 6 to 8 months for me. I don't refrigerate mine. This has been consistent over 3 years for me.

I read somewhere not to store your CA next to accelerator bottles. Do not know if that is one of those wives tales or there is some validity in it. But can't hurt to keep to that.

Much depends on the storage conditions and ambient weather. I keep my main stash in the fridge, and refill the small bottles (about halfway) from there. Seems to work fine.
