Does anyone know if the bushings for the Rockler and Woodcraft slim line pens are interchangeable with the pen kits. The Woodcraft bushings are longer and the bushings and blanks do not fit on the Rockler mandrel.

The bushings are interchangeable as long as both kits are slimlines. I've bought slimline bushings before from both stores. Some make a long bushing, while others make a short bushing. They should all fit on the same mandrel. At least in the past this was true. I have not bought any bushings from either store in a while now.

I don't know which mandrel you have. Do they not fit due to length, or do they just plain not go on due to diameter? I have no idea what Rockler sells, but some places sell "A" and "B" mandrel shafts and the "B" shafts have a larger diameter and require "B" bushings with a larger I.D.

Thanks for the help. The mandrel is not long enough to hold the 3 bushings and 2 blanks. As long as they are interchangable I will be all set.
