Bullet pen ?

A friend of mine wants to know if you can cut the very end off of the bullet and put it on the end of the pen where the clip is? He is going to supply me with some antlers in exchange for some pens and he likes the bullet/antler pen. Has anyone experimented with this? He thought it would be cool to see the bullet type and maker on the end.

Yes. I've done several "split" cartridge pens. Here's a pic of one made from a customer's cartridge and antler. It features a hidden clip so the headstamp is readable.
