So I am in the process of putting a together a Venus with a silver fiberglass blank, all from CSUSA. This is for my wife's birthday and the combination was her special request.

I know that it is not uncommon to have a bubble or two in cast blanks, but, is this acceptable for a $15 blank? I'm sure I can probably fill it with CA if I can get to it, but I am a little worried because this bubble is pretty much on the actual fiberglass.

Is this normal for this type of blank, or is a call to CSUSA justified?

If it's normal, any tips for dealing with a bubble this close to the fabric?

Thanks!
Alex

if you call them, CSUSA will probably ship out a new blank to you at no charge.

otherwise - turn down to it, then fill with CA.

It may just end up on the floor. Maybe it was missed during the inspection process. Why not take up the issue with CSUSA. They have excellent customer service. Oh, you asked if it was normal…I would say no. I would have already called them had I gotten that blank.
Do a good turn daily!

Thanks for the feedback folks. I have had a great experiences with CSUSA so I will give them a call in the morning, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being overly sensitive.

I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Cheers!
