Bubbasville East Meeting changed to 2/17

Due to the cold snap, the termites are hibernating and have changed the Feb. meeting date to 2/17, a week from this Saturday. Yeah, I know you folks in the GWN would love to have "just freezing" temps. But we termites are wimpy...[)]

Bring your pens for show and tell, bring stuff to demonstrate, bring
pens to turn, bring lunch and a chair. (No dogs or children please.)
Depending on the turnout (I have two lathes), we may need folks to
bring some equipment too.

Time: 9:30 AM till you're tired or 4 PM

I will plan on being in my shop on the following dates and hope that
some fellow pen turners will join me.

2007 -

Sat. Feb. 17
Sat. Mar. 10
Sat. Apr. 14

General location: I am 45 minutes from the Delaware Memorial Bridge,
one hour from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Accurate directions
available when you decide to come.

Please let me know if you're interested in coming so we can share
your particular skills.

Joe ... wouldn't it be a nice gesture of goodwill if all of the Bubbasville East members spent the day turning pens to send as gifts to the Bubbasville Atlanta people? I'm thinking Limited Edition Rhodium Emperors or something along those lines. Just a thought. [}]

I'll be expecting the kits and the appropriate blanks in the mail. You can have them drop shipped to save expenses...don't forget the 20% extra for the oops!!![][]
