In one of my less prideful moments I broke the bolt lever on 2 Bolt action pens last night as I was trying to disassemble. My CA finish was cracked like a spider web after a couple days..brand new bottle, both pens I made turned to junk. I thought I could pull the front end off and get to the set screw to get the lever out of there and then use my HF punch out tool to remove the backend. Seemed like a good plan. I just executed it very poorly.
I called Penn State and asked to purchase two new bolts. They told me they don't sell the lever by itself and I would either have to pay $10 a piece for the whole back end. With shipping, it would cost more than what I paid for the whole kit from my local store.
Anyone know of how I can get these? I am looking for the black finish but I will take what I can get and paint them.
