Brainstorming question

I talked to a guy that would like a Kubaton Pen. He wants it to be functional as both. Do you guys thing that a Cigar would work for this if I did it closed end?

What are some other ideas I don't have the skill (I don't think) to make it from scratch, but I am contemplating it.

Single tube design.Two piece will cause it to have a weak point.

Thanks Spanx, I was a cop years ago and had an expandable asp keychain, didn't think about the weak point.
