This my first attempt into the hidden Clip scene.... Not to bad.... but a lot more work.... unfortunately, i was using a massive double cut file to cut the way/channel ... it wasn't square and a tad too large..... I just went down to the hardware store and purchased some single cut files... and give those a go this week some time.

Does anyone have an easier way to do this? (making the channel)

If you have a metal lathe, you can put an end mill in the headstock and make a holder for the pen cap that will fit in your tool post. Use the cross slide to advance. A poor man's mill.
