Blank Cutters

Does anyone know where I can purchase the Pen Blank Cutters (various sizes)?
Apparently they are no longer being manufactured but someone, somewhere, must know where they're still available. Steebar still advertises them but will reply that they're not available if you place an order. Thanks and good luck finding.

I've tried all these sites and no luck. As I mentioned a company called Steebar has them advertised but no longer available. (Why advertise them???). At any rate, if you do a Google search for pen blank cutters, you'll see what I'm talking about. They cut a round blank with the center hole, all in one procedure. Not sure why they would discontinue this item. If you find them, please let the pen turning world know.

Those are plug cutters.

I am not sure why you would want to use one. You get a huge amount of waste compared to just turning your blank.

Also, it can only cut 3" deep, so you are pretty limited in what kits you can use it on.

Turning them round is much more fun. Doing this thing means you don't get Acrylic chips flying up your nose. Yes it was an interesting experience.
