Just made a big mistake. Was turning a Woodcraft European pen with some Maple Burl and I accidently CA glued my center ring bushing onto my cut tenon!![xx(] Hopefully some acetone in a small medicine bottle with just the tenon area covered will work by morning.[?] ARGH!!!! $@&*#@($&* ! Kirk :(

I did the same thing last week. I only let the acetone sit on it for a couple of minutes and then put a pliers on the ring. It came off easier than I thought it would. Good luck!

I turn a lot of center rings while turning the blanks/
though I have never seen tis as a suggestion I can't believe I am the first to do it.
I take whichever size tube the kit uses, and use it to pierce a sheet of wax paper.(the real stuff.not the kind that comes in cereal boxes.
I then use this wax paper "spacer" on either side of the center ring between the blanks.
While I am turning it flaps around but I touch it with a skew and voila! an instantlexact sized spacer.
The bushings don't stick so bad that you can't get them of with a little persuasion.
