Default Best double stick tape

I ran out of double stick tape and I can not remember the brand since I purchased from a member here on IAP. I ordered some from Amazon, but it's about as sticky as a Post-It-Note. What is the best brand/supplier for good strong double stick tape. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or recommendations.

I use this 1" x 36 yard tape by Permacel. I buy it at my local Woodcraft store, but I think you can also get it from Amazon.

It's the only stuff I've tried, so I can't say it's the best, but it has worked well for me.

I use Shurtape Indoor/Outdoor carpet tape, available at Lowes. Works well for me.

3m has different grades of 2 sided acrylic bonding tape. Some of them are extremely aggressive. VHB is real aggressive.
If you find what you are looking for shop for price. Sometimes PepBoys/ Home Depot have small packages of tape.

Current set up:
a pair of Jet 1015VS
Jet 1221VS
MidAmericaPool professional pool cue repair lathe

All I can add is that there are two basic "levels" of tape. One roll costs about $20 and the other (turning tape) costs about $40. I think Woodcraft sells the $40 tape. The former is used when you don't need to hold something super tight and the latter is used, for instance, to hold wood to a face plate when turning a platter or bowl and you DON'T want the wood to fly off the lathe!
