Thanks for your information requarding lose caps. I have made three barons and kept the couplers about 1/32"+ and epoxied the rings in place. So far no problems with the cap. No more o-rings.

I be playing with this on other screw capped pens and see if it also works.

Could you expand on what Bernie told you. I read the post here where they talked about the loose caps on the Barons:

Instead to pushin to coupler and band all the way down. Leave about 1/31" that way the cap will thread all the way down. You will be to glue the band to the barrel. I have been turning my cigars and Barons without brass tube so I still have to glue the components into the blank. So gluing the ring to no issue. I you epoxy instead of CA do the the flumes muking up the plating.
