i am a new turner and i have mostly Tapa Pens from wood pen pro. i personally like this type of kit. tried and failed with a sculpted design pen kit from packard wood. i went to Bear Tooth Wood website and was looking at their kits and i saw this on kit called Big A almost looks like the Tapa kit but at a cheaper price anyone have and experience with the Big A Kit from Bear Tooth. [8D]

The Big A is the same as the Berea Carbara (was called Atlas) and is different from the Tapa (or Sierra). I carry a platinum version of this pen (in walnut) as my personal pen and love it. Uses the Parker refill.

Bear Tooth Wood has been really great to deal with.
