Bamboo blanks

I'm not sure if this was brought up before, but I found a place to get inexpensive bamboo pen blanks, the grocery store. I was there waiting for my deli order and found a rack that had bamboo cutting boards. I bought the smallest one and got 2 or 3 straight blanks and 5 or 6 cross cut blanks for $5.00.
