I'm impatient, I freely admit that. Does anyone bake painted pen tubes to make the paint dry faster? I'm thinking a small toaster oven. Any idea what temperature to use?

Not tubes, but the inside if barrels for 20 minutes at 200.
Since using Rustoleum (i didn't hav much luck with Testors, craft paints, etc.) , I do not do that anymore. I know just wait a few hours and use epoxy.

Yes, I have dried painted tubes this way. I use a piece of coat hanger wire bent to have prongs to hold the tube. Just don't get too close to the heating elements.
My tube stand sits on the metal tray.

As Tony said, 200/20 seems to work. Just wanted the paint to be totally dry.

Shop toaster oven from rummage sale...$5.
