I found a complete meat carving set with interesting color bakelite handles. Any suggestions on how to remove the handles? How are they attached?

With out seeing them it's hard to say how to remove as to how they are attatched usually they have a tang that goes up the middle of each piece and are epoxied in.

I found them in an antique shop/flea market............$8 for the set 3 pieces

Thomas, I bought a meat fork a few weeks back and I just simply twisted the handle off. Didn`t get the deal you got.:eek:
This is how it turned out.

haha, I been called a cheapskate by former residents of thgis house, I'll try a little friendly twist tomorrow
