Australian Pen Kits---Hey Serge???

Hey Serge:

Over at TPS, some of your mates from the land of Koalas and Kangaroos posted a request for US sources of pen kits. Got me to wondering what kind of kits were available from sellers in OZ? Do you guys have pen kit sellers and do you have kits that are not available to those of us in the US??

If they exist, would you mind posting links to some of the places that you buy supplies in Australia? Thanks very much. Randy

Randy all my pen kits come from the States because of the great range of choice you guys got, here is very small not much penturners but is coming slowly pen kit is at this range and now we can find the cigar pen kit at around AU$ 9.00, that is Ruffy who open is little store but not much on is site ( BTW Ruffy is a IAP member )

I bought the Australian Pen blank set from Craft Supply and totally loved it. Beautiful woods, I like the Lace Sheoak most of all.

There are a few places in Sydney where I can get some pen blanks but mostly I get them from the states. I heard that Ryan at Woodturningz may have some.

Thanks, Serge. The one guy(Ruffy) is just reselling Berea pen kits and the other(Gary Pye) looks like he is a reseller for Penn State. Didn't really see anything new and different.

BTW, did you ever resolve the problem of finding a chuck or adapter for your spindle thread?? I sent an email to the JET folks here in America and they say they don't know anything about a JET mini with a 1x10 spindkle thread; but obviously, Gary is selling one[?]
