I've never made a Patriot. But I believe you are correct. there is a bit of a cosmetic difference at the top end of the pen Plus the Patriot starts out as 10k where the Polaris is 24k. but I think the bushings work with each pen. usually I like CSUSA little differneces better. but in this case I prefer the Polaris. Would rather have the 10k plating though.

The Atlas is offered in the most finishes. I like that flexability. I plan on ordering some Atlas
in the next couple of days.

Hmmm.... I just made a few CSUSA Americana Classic's and they look like a fancy version of the Patriot. The transmissions on those were VERY nice. I would think its the same transmission.
