Where is the best place to buy artist pencil kits,also refills for teachers pens,can they be made by cutting down ordinary refills?thanks

Refills for the artist pencils can be found at most art supply stores and with far more variety in color than is available from kit suppliers.

Refills for the teachers pens (and mini-pens) can be purchased from PSI, or anyone who carries the PSI line. PKMINI-R5 (black) or PKMINI-R5R (red) - $4.50 for a 5-pack (from PSI). The tip is not the same as a cross-style refill and I would not attempt to cut one down even if it were (I can imagine the mess).

I probably should have said where in Canada can i but artist pencil.,some teachers pens ive sold,the ink didnt last long and at $1.00 a refill it seems a little expensive to them.thanks
