I just finished turning one of the new acrylics (rage red) from W.C. I had forgotten the aroma of the acrylic, since I've been turning my PR castings for as long as I can remember. I think I like that smell... much better than PR.

The first "pen maker's choice" resin from CSA I ever turned was a Polar Ice blank, a closed-end Jr. Retro. I decided to keep that pen and, to THIS DAY a couple months later, I can still smell the acrylic acetate smell on that pen when I take it out of my pocket. Just weird, I have turned a lot of AA blanks and only this one blank smells that strongly. I have turned a few other polar ice blanks that didn't reek.
