Tried to put one of the new Gunmetal and Chrome Classica pens from CSUSA together tonight. The tube fit on the twist mechanism was quite loose. I checked it and it was around .377. The inside of tube was around .392. Does this sound normal? All four of the ones I have were .377. Are they defective or are you supposed to be able to wiggle the tube around on there? David

That kit seems to be identical to Sierra (and in my opinion from the same source I use) - I've sold a couple of hundred of these and while I have had two problems reported neither of them was like what you are seeing. So get in touch with CSUSA.

I have put together 10 of these, all of them have play where the nib section butts into the barrel where the bushing butt into while turning .
You can move it around a little which shows the raw edge.
The kits look good I think but are sloppy and not the best design in the world.
