anyone tried the new M3 Lava blanks?

I saw Psi advertising the new m3 lava pen blanks with metal mixed in.

anyone tried any? I tried to order some but it seems psi is out of stock on all of them.

anyone know of another source?

I turned one on a majestic, keep your tools scarey sharp and take your time. The second one got hot on me and exploded, maybe tools not sharp enough, maybe trying to take too much off at a time. First one came out nice though.

I could only see the metal ones.


I would like to try the new ones the look like the m3 mokume metal blanks.....But are made with both black lava, and metal, and are about $10 cheaper
