I haven't seen any wood ID apps. There are a couple of inventory apps around - I'll check. Pen, Tube, etc comparison check lists are listed on the right side of the IAP Home page, well maintained by our Librarian Mr Racinowski, and the lists are growing. Check the lists which are by vendor out.

Not nearly what you are looking for, but I have the Woodworking Talk app. Again, it is not what you are looking for, but they do cover penturning. Nice bunch of folks on there too.

Edohmann (Edgar) has developed igotcharts ( Apple App Store) and when he says charts he means more than you will ever need. Everything from chemistry to electrical. In the woodworking section he has the charts on pen kits and bushings from this forum. It also has conversion app, nut and bolt chart, very useful.

There is an App I. D. Wood that is real good for the 200 woods in its database.

+1 on penventory only wish they had an app instead of web based.
