It looks like some beautiful stuff on the outside. I'd be curious to see what the grain looks like. I have done some sagebrush and it is suprisingly beautiful. It is a very fine grain and has as much character as say sycamore myrtlewood. This may be similar. It is not that expensive for the amount that a person gets in the sample pack. Maybe a person could get a few small pieces to look at and try out rather than buy a sample pack and not have it work.
