Antelope?

Can antelope horn be turned like antler for pen making or is it hollow? Someone wants to know. Thanks for your input.

I honestly do not know. Would have to cut one into, and see if it is hollow. If they are a member of the deer family, I would think it would work. Again, I dont know. Will be interesting to see though.

I have one. There is a hollow area about 1" deep . Drilling would have to be precise and If I remember correctly. a larger bit. Probably Sierra size and length. I haven't drilled mine yet as I want to get it right.

Alton, you say 1" deep. Now is that the entire length you think? I wonder if they are solid out at the tip end?

The hollow goes in at least 1 1/2". Won't be able to tell how bad until I drill
