Yes I have, many times. It has a nice brown color to it and turns with no problems. Our famous Bluenose II schooner, built in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia in 2011 had the hull constructed out of it. The wood is very strong and does not deteriorate too quickly. You can see my Bluenose II pens with angelique wood at www.scotianpens.com under nautical woods. Darrell

Thanks, I picked some up today. It is really cheap and it looks like it will turn nice.
