I have an emperor kit that has engraveing on both the top and bottom barrell. How do I assemble the pen to ensure the engraveing will line up.

What I do is assemble the nib end as usual. Then, I barely engage the cap end to the components by hand. Screw the cap on the nib, and turn the engraving to line up like you like it. Carefully unscrew the cap and press the components to place. I don't remember how many starts (so to speak) the Emperor has in its threading, but you may have to try a couple of times to get the right start to line things up. Where are the pictures!!??
