Has anyone else who makes Aero's noticed that the twist mechanisms take quite a bit of force to turn? Not normally a problem, but with the smooth tapered top, if your fingers are a bit slick at all it can be hard to turn.

I've only made a handful, and they all are like that. I even checked the mechanism before I assembled it, and it's definitely tight.

I will try the transmission before assembly. If it is too tight, I drizzle a bit of DNA into the mechanism, then wipe it down. This makes the stiff oil in the transmission "looser" and easier to turn.

I've tried adding a drop of very thin machine oil, but no luck. The DNA idea makes a lot of sense, I'll give it a try.

Thanks,

Gary
