I have done a search and checked the library, but came up empty.

I have been asked to make a slimline with a Carbon fiber blank but was asked to make it heavier. Is there any way to add weight to these pens?

Thanks,

Get a heavy material and turn it to fit inside the 7mm tube, drill a hole for the refill to go through. It's funny, everybody always says my pens are too heavy so I usually look for a way to make them lighter.

I guess in theory it is possible but I have never done it . It would involve adding a sleeve between the end of the nib insert and the bottom of the transmission , of a diameter which would slide into the lower barrel before the transmission was inserted , and with an inner ID which could accommodate the refill . If serious about trying that , I would suggest going with a lower barrel about 1/4 inch longer than normal . That will put the added weight near the nib end and keep the pen somewhat balanced in feel . It would be easier to add weight above the refill in the upper barrel , but I don`t think the pen would feel right in use .
