Acrylic that like flames,

I've been asked to make a seam ripper out of an acrylic, not laser cut wood, that most resembles real flames.
She thought red, Orange and yellow but just want it to look like flames she says. I've like looked around and the best I found was
Lava Bright Classic 2 Orange with Black Swirl Thread 3/4 in. x 3/4 in. x 5 in. Pen Blank at Penn State Industries
And
Exotic Blanks :: Pen Blanks :: Acrylic Acetate Pen Blanks :: Solar Flare Acrylic Pen Blank

Any other ideas or blanks that look like flames... ?

You can ask Jonathan Brooks to custom-mix a flame pattern out of poly-resin. His work is outstanding. There are other members and member-vendors that furnish exemplary work. If it has to be acrylic acetate, I don't know if I have any ideas other than consulting the member-vendors (which is where I would start). Good luck with the search - part of the fun!

Also check out earths core at Exotics. You can paint the tube and inside the blank red to enhance the fire colors.
