Good afternoon, everybody. There is a problem with acrylics by HUTPRODUCTS. It's great, but by polishing it becomes almost transparent to a depth of 2 mm, and because of this it is seen inside a metal tube. Who else solve this problem?

I paint the inside of the hole before glueing in the brass tube or paint the tube a corresponding color to the blank. Hope this helps

Paint the inside of the blank before gluing . You could also paint the brass tube the same color for a little extra security.

In fact depending on the color you use to paint the tube/blank, the end result will be different. Experiment! :wink:
I used to paint the tubes. Now I find better results by spraying paint into the drilled hole. But that's just me.
