Abrasives - Sanding

Does anyone use/recommend this multi-pack or is it best to select packs of commonly used grit from the local borg?

Depends - is it for pens, or things like baseball bats and bowls?

If you're using it for pens, you're wasting money on the lower grits, I would say...you don't really need them...I start sanding at 400, myself...

I agree about the grits.
I did buy this type once. I got from PSI/Woodturningz. They actually offer an extra grit so it goes to 600.
I ran out of the 400 and 600 long before the lower grits.
It was convienent to be able to rip off a small piece and I was less prone to using a piece "too long" instead of throwing it out.
Still better to just buy a few sheets of the grits you use most and just cut them in strips ahead of time. You will come out ahead of the rolls. Probably better quality paper on the sheets too.

I agree with Andrew, I start with 400 grit on my pens so the other lower grits are a waste.

Good Deal, Thanks Fella's! all these 'little' odd's and end's are adding up. I have to hunt up that thread again on common sizes and the thread on CA. With a little luck I might be able to make a pen next week, or get hit in the head with a blank. Time will tell.
