When I drill blanks with a 7mm drill it seems that the tubes are pretty loose in the holes,(for slimlines) However when I drill with the size "o" bit for "click Pens" the tubes fit fairly tight. I use an excess of CA for the 7mm tubes trying to make sure the gaps are filled. Anyone else run into thes problem?

7mm tubes are not all created equal.

First, follow directions if you were lucky enough to get any with your order-some sources don't recommend a 7mm hole for THEIR 7mm kits (spelled with a B), Others, starting with Penn State have a smaller 7mm. So, because it says 7mm, doesn't mean it IS! As you make the kit often enough, you will decide what bit to use (and it may be different for wood than it is for plastic-AHA!! a new wrinkle!!!) Keep turning-it is FUN, remember!!![:D]

This is why you can't beat experience!!
