On my lunch today I had to go to an electrical supply house. I saw something interesting. It was polishing paper for fiber optic cables. He said they use it to polish up the end of the cable to allow maximum transfer of light through the cable. They had it in 3microns and .5microns. I wonder what this would do for our pens? Has anyone tried it or heard of it?

Thanks,
Ryan

Looks like it is about $20-25 for 20 sheets. This may be good to break in nibs on FP's.

Looks like the same polishing paper A bought from www.Richardspens.com
I paid 8.00 for 1 sheet 6x9 1.0 micron and 1 sheet 0.3 micron, I had real good luck using them to smooth out some steel nibs. I use a little water on the mylar as well when I am polishing.
