Hi All,
Does anyone know of a pencil kit that uses .3mm lead. My sister is a technical writer and it is her pencil of choice.
thanks in advance for your help

I don't think your gonna have any luck with that. The only people I have heard of using that are draftsmen and they don't use pencils anymore. I used to have a drafting pencil set and I liked using the .03 but I wouldnt imagine their would be enough people would would want to use it for the companies to offer a kit in it.

Randy,

It a little more on the challenging side, but you can make a pencil in .3mm. I used to use that size in High School drafting for making my lettering guide lines. Craft Supplies USA sells a special step drill bit for making a wood body for a Pentel Mechanical pencil. Pentel model P203.

If you don't want to buy the special bit click here:

I work with guy who actually has one of those wooden Pentels and it's nice. Hope this helps!
