I attended a Bonnie Klein demo last month, where she used a new abrasive material called Trizac, made by 3M. From what I could see, this stuff is pretty amazing, and last forever. Here's a link to a ultra close-up photo of Trizac compared to normal sandpaper: http://www.legsource.com/Hosiery_Consortium_Testing/sandpaper_&_trizac.htm

Problem is, I haven't been able to find it anywhere except in hook-n-loop backed disk form. Has anyone come across a source for rolls, sheets, strips or belts of this stuff?

This should take you to the 3m site. If not, go to 3m.com then US, then products, then superabrasives. The product appears to be called trizact diamond lapping film (bottom of page). When you click on that link, on the left there is a nice search function to find suppliers. I found several driving distance from my house. Good luck.
