Hi all,
If you read my other posts you will know that I recently recieved a quantity of 2 inch (50mm) corian samples with rounded corners and edges. I have 2 of each colour.

How would you guys and gals get the best use out of them for pens?
It would be nice if I could manage 1 single barrel pen per blank.

Those little blocks are hard to use -- many that I have are grooved near one corner.

Abrade with a bit of sandpaper and glue together with epoxy or medium CA (avoid accelerator because it tends to make CA more brittle).

Lay out your blank on the diagonal and you can get about 2 1/3 to 2 1/2 inches of usable blank, depending on the amount of rounding and the notches.

I realize that you are asking about a single tube pen, but you can make a slim style pen out of a 2 inch Corian sample. The pen will be slightly shorter than a standard slim but doesn't look out of proportion.
