Does anyone know who may have 10" tubes in Houston, TX? I was wanting to make some bullet pens and need the longer tubes. I have tried both Woodcraft stores and Rockler. I will try a hobby shop next.

Make sure you compare the inside dimensions if you have to buy the hobby shop tubes. Most of them wont work with kit parts.

If you use a real bullet for the pen tip, then you can use the tubes that come with the kit. I started the way you did but then found it a real pain. You can also join 2 tubes together with a dowl or solder them.

I have ordered my 10" tubes from PSI when I could order anough of this pluss other things to justify shipping. I don't know if any of our peaple carry them. Good luck.

I have found some at Hobby Lobby and my local Ace Hardware, but as mentioned earlier, be sure to check the ID when you get them, this is the critical measurement. The OD you can compensate for with little problem.
