10 000 Year Old Red River Gum

Hi guys

On a brighter note, and I think I have never posted a picture, here is something that I turned with great care. Not that turning a pen is rocket science but the material I was working with held me in awe. I managed to get 5 blanks of 10 000 year old Australian Red River Gum and I keep this for very special friends. I have two blanks left and I am waiting to make them oneday even if it takes another 25 years. What is 25 years in 10 000.
