Funny, that's exactly what the big bad wolf said right before they found Grandma. The wolf in sheeps clothing also pleaded innocent and claimed that he wasn't trying to get away with anything - he was just cold. :wink:

Koa is BEAUTIFUL!!! But it CAN be different density as you turn it---as you approach final dimension, don't push, cut parallel to the mandrel, so you don't "overturn" a "soft spot".

OR use your 180 grit gouge!
