Here's my mug with this morning's coffee. Yes, it's a RED MUG! I decided to order a very few of those as special gifts for your management team - those guys who work behind the scenes year round to keep the IAP running smoothly.

I know we have some other coffee lovers here. Anyone else use a Chemex? I like the glass handled version and that's a 6-cup. The Breville kettle works great, and I also use a Capresso burr grinder. Beans this morning were Kenya AA, which I buy from a small roaster in Cleveland.

Here's a closeup of the mug. They are sort of a rustic brick red.

Hey, you in my kitchen . . .?

We have (5) CHEMEX coffee makers also . . . all the sizes, although we don't have one with the handle . . . I got carried away on eBay . . .

And we have a Capresso Conical Grinder . . .

But we use a Japanese Hario Beehive Kettle to pour & a regular kettle to boil . . .

A Bunn Decanter Warmer to keep it warm between cups . . .

Guess we need a glass handle model . . .

Will send pictures when my IAP MUG arrives . . .

Steve

Received my mug today, and just happened to have a pot of coffee on to road test it. Sad to say I don't have one of those fancy/smancy coffee machines:frown:, just a plain ole drip coffee maker. I do use Gevalia Limited Edition coffee, and I swear, the new cup makes it taste better:biggrin:.

Thank you,
Carl

I got my IAP MUG Today . . . .

I included some pictures of my coffee goodies also . . .

I have to tell you, going from a MR. COFFEE to a CHEMEX is like going from a YUGO to BMW.

Thanks Jeff for the first class mugs.

Steve

Got my mug and it now has the place of honor above my desk in my shop. No coffee in it, I never grew up enough to learn how to like that stuff.

They sure are! I've run the 2009 mug through the dishwasher probably 100 times with no noticeable effect. (Except it comes out clean each time!)

Edit: And it's never exploded in the microwave!

As I can tell these are nice clay mugs, I can tell you (as a good friend of mine is a potter) they would defiantly be microwave & oven safe. She found that if you throw it in the dish washer use the gel soap as the powder stuff can sometimes etch the glazes.

(BTW Jeff I would love to order one, but cash is short now...do you have many left for sale say in march?)

I got mine! Sorry no picture, camera is not set up this week.

I still can't believe people actually use them. Mine are on a shelf; behind a thick sheet of glass.
