This was supposed to be my 7mm contest entry, but apparently I took the slim a little bit over the top. It is a standard 7mm slim, and it twists in the center, but I did not use the nib or finial. Built him a matching box too. Oh well, what can I say...I'm a man, I don't listen and apparently can't read either!

Thanks..the two barrels line up perfectly and are perfectly round. They can be a hair off flush at times because the stupid slim tranny has a micro wobble to it. Now I know why they incorporate the ugly centerband or make the upper barrel fatter like a euro.

Jeff you and a scroll saw are a hard team to beat, rules or not, that's a nice set, I love the box.

Very cool! And I like the box. It's been in my mind for sometime to do companion boxes for some high end pens, and your example shows it adds a great deal.
