Messing around with casting pictures on pens,this first try is what I came up
with,I'm not sure what I think of it. It was however fun to work on

I can see a little separation at the ends, which may well be from milling it as much as anything else. That being said, WOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!! Love that picture on the pen barrel like that! Excellent!

not to sound like im sandbagging, but it looks more like air over the label. what is your casting technique? If you can rectify that problem, then you've got a home run blank! I would like to see the seem side of it too!

Finishing the ends

Actually what you are seeing on the ends is my attempt to blend the picture off
in order to get the picture to fit the tube and not have too much overlap
I had to shrink it down and take out the old model car paints and just
try to blend the top and bottom seams away

I tried to get some good photos of the back side
you can see the seam but,Hey, it's a picture of a picture
and I'm still working out a few dents
