This was one of those pens that had no real plan just a bunch of "let's try this"
stuff going on. I started with a piece of grapevine, turned it down, sat there and stared at it. At first I couldn't tell what was missing but I knew that I was tired of turning plain grapevine pens. I took a dremel to the tube and although it looked different in that one spot it still looked undone. I filled the voids left by the dremel with a little PR returned the tube and ended up with a grapevine tube with PR added to it and it still looked undone. After staring at the tube a little longer I thought that I may as well take the paints to it and since the dremel stuff made it look like a tree I figured I'd try to paint a tree. Soooo
after a little paint and a little CA for finish I ended up with a pen with a picture of a tree? Oh well it was change of pace for one day anyway.
Thanks for looking,C&C welcome
Mark

Looks Terrific Mark.
You have converted a relatively plain standard pen into a "Unique Work of Art".
Another one of you many talents unveiled.
The Zen is a great "Canvas" for it.
As usual your Fit and Finish is Superb.
Congratulations, and please continue to surprise us.
Brian.
