Cody Walker did a hands-on demo making abalone blanks this past Thursday evening at the Richmond Pen Group. This is my first attempt completing an abalone blank. I cast the blank on Friday and this is today's result. I am amazed, and take no credit for the way it turned out.

How did he do at teaching this method to our group?
