Here is my third place pen. It is a closed end steampunk pen. It took me a while to figure out exactly how to cast it and a number of tries to get one that was acceptable.
It was cast in Silmar 41. Length with cap on.....5.31 in. w/o cap 4.76 in.
Capped wt. is 1.54 oz. uncapped is .77 oz.

All in all it was a fun project plus I learned a couple of things.
Comments welcome and I hope you like it.

That is a superb pen Perry! Great job on the closed end cast!
To those who didn't see this pen in person, it is a winner for sure!

1st and 2nd place must have been a Rembrandt or Picasso great design and craftsmanship Bob B.

1st took best of show and is a candidate for the IAP collection and was a pretty remarkable pen. I won't say anything about 2nd since my personal view might be biased.

Second place was awesome also. I have no complaints being beat by those two pens. They deserve victories.
