Yew Burl

Last month I recieve an envelope of blanks from Andrew (UKpenmaker) that included some beautiful wood. This is the first piece of Yew that I have turned, and I am very pleased with the result.

Chrome Sierra with a CA/BLO finish.

Yew'all don't want to get started. We (Dad and I) traded "yew" remarks all afternoon after opening the box of blanks. Yew would be amazed at how much yew can yews that word! [][}]

Andrew, thanks again. I had to beat the boys off with a stick to keep them away from the blanks. A couple have disappeared and I think they have them hidden somewhere [}].
