Hey yall
Wwell after 6 hours in the shop trying to figure out something I saw a long time ago:confused:.. I figured out how to do it:laugh: but...........Did you know that CA has a shelf life:eek:????? Well it does and mine was past its prime... The blank held together all during cutting, splicing and light sanding , but when I went to drill it thats when It fell apart....... oh well will try again tomorow...

It may not be bad CA. CA does not have much shear strength. Next time, try rounding your blanks to about 3/4" diameter first, then wrap the blank in a layer or two of gauze and saturate it with thin CA. When dry, then drill your hole.
