Nice for a first fountain pen! Next time you use a transparent acrylic like that, consider reverse painting. It really helps the acrylic blank pop!

Thanks for the positive feedback!

I will try the painting next time, the more I look the more I can see the brass. It simply didn't occur to me that the blank would be as transparent as it is. I'm also not sure I like the kit, the section is small for my 'meat hook' hands :)

Looks really nice, great pen. Sometimes I reverse paint the tube. Some times the brass adds to the luster of the pen. Just depends on the color of the blank and thickness. I can not see the brass in the blank from the photo. Looks nice.

Not sure how I missed this....

Fit-n-finish look pretty darn good! Green paint on the tube makes the 'green' really jump out, but the brass tube with give it this color(something I actually like). A quick wipe with one of those dryer sheet things will help with the dust being attracted to the pen blank too.....
